Long Ago
Submitted by avery44 on Wed, 05/01/2013 - 2:50pmI am sitting on a boulder, waiting for something to happen, but nothing does. I am in the year 3863 and I really have no idea where I am. I am in a field of large boulders, literally, that’s all there is. For miles around, I can't see anything other than boulders. They are all placed perfectly on the soft, spongy, muddy ground, they seem like they are placed on a grid. I can't tell what this place was made for, other than I am pretty sure this is a man-made creation. I slide off the slimey boulder that I'm sitting on, and walk. That is really all I can do here. The wet, muddy ground is odd. It seems as if it was not real. I feel like I am walking on enormous sponges that are covered with slimy grass. I stop walking because I sink down about a foot deep every step you take. I rest my scraped up back against another boulder. It stings as the green slime seeps into my long, deep cuts. I don't know what to do. If I continue to walk, I will run out of breath and fall down. If I rest against a boulder, I will die of pain because of the slime. I decide to get on top of the boulder and attempt to rest, but I fall off and land on the sponge and the slime gets to me again. Read more »

CRASH!!!!
“No mom, I didn't do it. It was that new kid down the street.”
“Son, there is no new kid down the street. Don't lie to me.”
“You didn't hear about the Ronburg family?”
“What? The Ronburg family?”
“Yes. They just moved in yesterday.” Read more »
Robots
Submitted by avery44 on Thu, 02/07/2013 - 9:35amIt was a peaceful day in the town of Burlington, Vermont. People were going to work, school, and wherever they needed to go. They were talking, eating, and walking. It was just like any other day in Burlington.
But that all changed when the robots came... They were clawing and shredding through the town. Cutting down buildings. Hurling timebombs at all sorts of different objects.
It was more than a massacre. It was an annihilation.

She breaks away.
Scrambling to somewhere else, somewhere where she can be free, so she can be away from those horrid people.
So she can do what she desires. Read more »
The Book of Imagination
Submitted by avery44 on Thu, 01/10/2013 - 6:55pmI was sitting on the clock. I was just a little minifigure that some kids in my house (yes, my house) played around with. I had climbed up on the mantel in the living room where I usually read my book until it turns to 4:00, which is when I couldn’t stand being tilted on my side, and then slide down the hand onto the floor. This clock was mine too. Read more »
Fly
Submitted by avery44 on Tue, 11/13/2012 - 10:36am
I woke up one morning to find myself laying on the floor. I’m on the floor. What? How did I get down here? My mom walks upstairs. “Son, get out of bed. Why are you on the floor? Get out and fly.” What? I get up. I feel wobbly. I fall down the stairs. I can't stand up straight. My dad is having breakfast. Read more »
Waiting for Nothing...
Submitted by avery44 on Wed, 10/10/2012 - 4:10pmWaiting...
Waiting by the track feild.
No one else is here.
But I'm still waiting...
Waiting for nothing
I was told to be here today
But no one has come
Waiting...
Waiting for something to happen
Something I was told to be here for
By someone who I don't know
Waiting...
The cold, chilly, harsh wind
Blowing against my cheeks
I put on my hat
Why am I still here?
In a bit I'll probably freeze to death
Waiting...
Waiting for nothing...
There is no reason to be here
Yet I want to stay
Yet I want to wait for nothing to happen
For nothing to be something
Yes I am waiting for something...
Waiting for nothing
Nothing is something right?
So I have a reason to be waiting here
Waiting...
Or maybe I don't
But if I am really still here...
In real life...
I have a reason to be here
Waiting...
Waiting by the track field.
No one else is here.
But I'm still waiting...
Waiting for nothing

HELP!!!
What just happened?
He stole something!
What should I do?
I watch him walk out of the store and run away.
What should I do???
Police!
I pull out my cell phone.
9-1-1
Burlington Police Department...
Someone just ran from Staples with a box in his hands.
Think he stole it.
We’ll be there.
OK
He saw me.
He kept running.
I’m afraid.
I chase him.
Passing by other people.
They look at him, then me, then him.
They follow.
He’s running too fast.
9-1-1
He’s running into the south parking garage.
We’re coming.
SMASH
He’s driving off.
9-1-1
He stole a car.
License plate...
ERG-923
Thanks.
Where did he go?
I see him.
Gun shots.
Screeching tires.
I can’t help anymore.
He turns around.
I walk away...
Look over my shoulder...
He drives towards me.
Fast
I move fast.
He misses me.
Screech
He turns around

My Wish
Submitted by avery44 on Mon, 01/09/2012 - 12:47pmIf I had one wish, I'm not sure what I would do with it. Ofcourse, I wouldn't wish for a billion trillion quadrillion more wished because that's what every charachter does in a story when they have to choose one wish. Then they always end up dead in some way. I might choose to have the power of invisibility or maybe I would stop war forever and make everyone live peacefully. Maybe I would choose to make everyone happy. Maybe I would make sure everyone had a place to live. Maybe I would cure all diseases on Earth. There are so many choices, but I know one thing for sure. My wish, whatever I choose to do, must be for everyone one on the earth. I don't want to waste the one wish that I have on just me. The one wish...what will it be.
