One sunny day I go out of bed and suddenly I notice I had a license. “But I’m only nine!” I said.

I saw that I got taller over night and then I saw a little man with a bottle. He said, “I am sorry but I have spilled my mixture on you and I think it made you thirty-five.

So then I said, “Do you have something that will make me nine again?”

“Well, yes”, he said, “but it is a needle”.

“Okay”, I said.

I saw the needle was big but it did not hurt that much and suddenly I was nine and had no car. Then I told myself I am sad I have no car but I am happy I am nine again.

One morning I looked in the mirror to find that an experiment went totally wrong! “Screeeeaaaam!”, I yelled. “I’m old! I’m old!”

I was 35 years old…Well, I was nine, but I had a disease. There was a cure. I had to play all day. That night after playing I turned nine again.

Beep! Beep! Beeeeep! I woke up suddenly and looked for where the noise was coming from. On my night stand…. wait. Since when did I own a nightstand? An alarm clock was sitting on the stand and was repeatedly beeping. I shut it off and went over to sit down and think.

Neatly placed on a table were cards and a cake. I cautiously opened a card. It said, “Happy 35^th!”  The next said, “35 wishes for 35 years”. The 3^rd card said, “Happy Days, Rose!” My name was on the card. I peered over the cake and saw 35 candles and again, my name!

I walked out of the bedroom and saw two children screaming, “Happy Birthday, Mom!” At this point, I freak out and pour cold water all over my head to wake up from a dream. Nothing happens. The children tell me that I’ll be late to work, and that sets me off. I decide to go with whatever happens and hope to wake up! Two dogs suddenly jump on me with kisses and bark! I see bills on the table and now I really don’t want to live. I try not to look at the sum of the bills and…my eyes open and I’m sitting on the floor in the kitchen with a bucket of water and a wet head! I guess it was all a dream!

One day I woke up. I heard a screaming baby down the hall. I didn’t know where I was but I decided to get ready for school anyway.

“Ahhh!!! I’m two feet taller”, I scream. An unfamiliar man came running through the door.

“Honey, what’s the matter?”

“Who are you”, I say. “A robber?”

“I’m your husband, honey. You know me”.

It was weird though because I vaguely remembered him. “Go feed Opal”, he said.

“Who’s Opal?” I ask.

“Your daughter!” he said, looking dumb-founded. “It’s time for us to go to work now”, he said after I was done feeding Opal.

So I get to my “work”. It turns out I am a singer songwriter. At noon I hear a new release called “The Three Stars” and at the end of the song the announcer says, “by Olivia Swayze”. I wonder if that’s me he’s talking about? In another hour or so I get a call from someone working for the Grammy’s. She asked me if I could perform “The Three Stars” at the Grammy’s and immediately I said yes. “When are the Grammy’s?”

“In one month”, she said. I start to scurry around trying to find the perfect dress for the Grammy’s as well as find three actors for my song because the lady on the phone said I was the opening act.

One day when I was swinging on my swing set a strange egg floated down to earth. It was purple and green striped, floating eye level on a cloud. Before I knew what was happening, it exploded like a big firecracker shooting to the moon! Out popped a small child who looked to be about six. He stared at me and said, “I am a cloud child sent by God above. Cherish me until you can’t stand me and when you can’t mutter this incantation: I, Olivia Swayze, have been blessed by this heavenly child and will never forget it. AMMANADUUU! When you mutter this, I will be sent back to heaven. Good luck!”

20 Years Later

Now that I have grown old and have cherished this child, I will mutter the incantation, which the young child once said to me. “I, Olivia Swayze, have been blessed by this holy child and will never forget it. AANNENADUUUU!

Though the incantation got scrambled in my mind over all those years, God still accepted it. The cloud child immediately was sent home. The next day the child arrived at your house. What now?

I was in my backyard eating cake on a normal spring day. Then a big purple polka dotted egg was bouncing on my head! “Ow!” Boing! “Ow!” Boing! It was hard.

I kept it in my room for a couple of days. I kept watching and waiting and tried to keep it from bouncing more! Then one grateful day, it jumped on the ceiling and broke! A baby kangaroo came out, jumped all over the place and out the window, never to be seen again.  Maybe…”What was that?” I said. “I thought kangaroos were mammals!”

“Flowers are pretty, flowers are blue, flowers are different from me and you”, I sing in my back yard while picking lilacs and other flowers.

“Ooh, ooh, I have another tune”, I say.

I say it out loud to the flowers and bees. Then I sing, “Flowers, flowers, flowers and eggs”.

Wait, eggs? I look where I had just pulled apart some flowers. There was a beautiful, big egg sitting on the ground. Wow! I say to myself in awe.

I grab the egg and put it into the basket that I’m using to put the flowers in. I run inside and go to my room and set it on my desk. I start to examine it side by side. I stop. I see a note on the side of the egg. It says:

Hi! Take care of this egg and it’s contents. Water the first and help the second. Please!

What? Well, cool!!

The next day I wake up to find my egg replaced with a flower, though not just a flower, but a beautiful flower! I water it many times, but it still doesn’t bloom. A week later my flower blooms! Inside there is a fairy!

“Wow!” I say.

She talks to me. I take care of her in return. Her name is Aridesa Cotise Rosen. When I get older I pass her on to my daughter.

My back yard is filled with flowers and a big vegetable garden. We also have a big trampoline in the middle of our back yard. I decided to take a walk outside with my friends. As we walked closer to the garden I suddenly saw a big purple egg. We all got closer to the egg and realized it was about to hatch. After a minute we started to watch two baby chicks hatch from the big purple egg. After the two baby chicks hatched we put them in an empty shoebox with some green grass and carefully put them in the box. We decided to walk the box over to my uncle’s house next door because he has a dozen chickens himself. We thought that was the best place for the chicks to be.

“Hmm, this tomato plant looks like it needs some water”, I say.

All of a sudden a huge egg seemed to absorb all of the water and take up the whole garden bed! I pick it up and go wash it off in our pond to see if it is fake. Suddenly, an egg about the size of the other started bobbing along in the pond. I went for a swim. This egg had a similar pattern on the shell and…all of a sudden it slipped out of my hands and. …cracked! Purple and pink and every color you could name popped out of the egg!

“Well, that was a goner!” I say.

I hurry home and put the egg in a huge incubator and sit down on my bed to think. The first thought was, Easter Bunny, but it was August! I had barely had time to think, when I heard a crack! I peeked into the incubator and saw…a beach ball. But…. before I know it, the ball pops and….”Chirp!”.

“A cricket!” I scream.

The cricket starts talking and I become smart. I use my gift to help other kids progress in school.

On a warm Saturday morning I was climbing up a tree and I saw a big, purple and lumpy egg in a nest. I grabbed it and then climbed out of the tree. When I got down I decided I wanted to keep the egg for a little bit and see what comes out of it.

For the next couple of hours I was watching the egg carefully and finally I heard a cracking noise. Then I saw a blinding light and heard a loud noise. In a couple seconds I saw what came out….a beaver crossed with a moose crossed with a fish! A beamoosh! This one was a keeper. I kept the beamoosh for a couple of days, but sadly on the third day he ran away. I never saw him again.

One day I got a package. I opened the package. There was a basketball hoop inside and Ray Allen signed it. I like Ray Allen because he is my favorite basketball player. I got it because I sent a letter saying that I wanted a basketball hoop signed by him. I also wanted it because I like to shoot three pointers and he does too. I hung it up and I shot three pointers in it and I made all of them.

One day I was just getting back from school and there was a box leaning on the door. Someone sent it to me. Grandpa Ron sent it to me. I looked inside. It was a bike! I would ride it!

It was a late Tuesday afternoon and I had just gotten home from school. I went to feed my chickens but I noticed a big package so I went and checked it out. It was for me!

On the box it said that it was from my aunt and uncle. Inside there was a basketball, a football, a soccer ball, a couple baseballs, some hockey pucks, a few lacrosse balls, two hockey nets, two soccer nets, a baseball bat, a baseball mitt and a hockey stick. I was so happy!

Then I called my aunt and uncle and thanked them. They know I liked sports so that’s why they sent me all of the stuff. After they I took everything out and tried yo play with everything for as long as I could.

“Uhhh, uhhh, tap, tap, tap.” I tap my pencil. How the heck do I do this??

Beep! Beep! Beep! I look up. The mailman was waiting in his little jeep in front of my house. I got up and told myself I could wait to do the homework. I went outside.

“What is it? You never come straight to our door!”,  I yell over the engine, which, speaking of the engine, I think it’s the loudest one in the whole world. I run over to him. “What is it?”, I ask eagerly. A huge box, he says. Cool, I say. It turns out the box was for me and I had to have my dad, the mailman and me all carry it into the house. When I opened it, the first thing I saw was a note. On the note it said:

              Hello! I am now giving you these souvenirs and toys because you are my biggest fan and you deserve all of this!

One beautiful day in Boston I was sitting on the front steps of my apartment. Suddenly, a UPS truck stops and a man with brown hair wearing a UPS suit hands me a large box with duct tape on it. There was a note that said:

To Tom

From Ted, the Troll

Even though I didn’t know this troll I was still tempted to open the package. I ran inside to open the box while ripping the tape off. A giant polka dotted, blue Teddy Bear jumped at me! He then said, “Happy Holidays, Tom!” I looked at him and fainted.

Four hours later I woke up on the couch and he said, “Are you dead?” I said, “I am not dead. I am alive”. Suddenly, they heard a loud scream. It was a lady screaming, “Help me, help me!” The Teddy Bear graded me and ran outside. He saved her from a robber that was trying to steal her purse. He punched him in the face. Everyone in the neighborhood gathered around and cheered. The sang, “You saved the lady’s purse!”

Mom was coming inside from getting the mail. There was the news and some envelopes and an unusually large box. The box turned out to be addressed to me. It said:

            Dear little girl,

      I’ve been watching and think I know you deserve this!

I tore open the box and found another box and another inside of it and about seven more. Finally, in the last one, there was a ring. There was a note that told me what to use it for. It said:

            This ring will

            take you anywhere you say!

            Say, “return” to go home!

I was excited! There were more notes, explaining that I was chosen to own this ring so the evil wouldn’t capture it. They chose me by drawing names from a gigantic hat. Now I am going to visit places no man has ever stepped foot on!

One day someone was knocking on my door and I opened it and no one was there! Then I felt a tapping on my leg. I looked down and a short man gave me a package. I closed the door, sat down and opened it. Inside was a giant bouncy ball. I threw it and it bounced off the ground and came back and hit me in the face! “Ow!”, I said. I looked farther in the package and found a note:

            Dear Jackson,

You have won a giant bouncy ball! I hope you have a lot of fun.

      Mr. G.T.

I looked him up and it said G.T. stands for Giant Toy Company. No wonder it was so big! Then I remembered that recently when I was checking out at Wal-Mart the cashier asked me my mane and where I lived so that’s where it came from!

One spring morning I found a package with my name on it. I ripped the box open and found a little puppy! I went over to my kitchen and gave him a drink. He was thirsty. Then I looked at the note. It said…

            Dear Jaz,

      I hope you love your new puppy. He is too playful for us old folks!

I wanted to know who gave me this puppy so I circled all the clues and figured it out. It was my grandmother! I love him. His name is Pebbles.

One day when I got home from school there was a big box on my porch that the UPS man dropped off for me. I brought the box in the house and was very excited to open it. When I opened the box inside was a beautifully wrapped box with a card on it. I opened the card first and it said:

            To Sophie

            Love, Thea Antonia

After that I opened the wrapped box and inside of it was an Ipod 5. I got this because it was my birthday present. When I opened the box I took the Ipod out and plugged it in, waited for it to charge then downloaded music and games. I loved my my Ipod. This was the best birthday present ever.

One day someone was knocking on my door and I opened it and no one was there! Then I felt a tapping on my leg. I looked down and a short man gave me a package. I was walking down the beach when…”CLINK”…. something had washed up and hit a rock. Three bottles tied together were caught on a rock. One had a note, another had a type of drink and the last one had a shell with a ship carved on the inside. There also was a small necklace inside the shell that had a moonstone in the middle.

First I read the note. It was simple and a bit tricky. I ran to my friend Leah who is fascinated with magic. She asked me, “Why are you here?” I said, “No time to explain!” By the time I got there I was out of breath. I read the note to her. It said:

              Do not fear me. I am a friend, a friend who lives in the sea. I sent you this drink with a spell so you and one friend could have a tail and breathe under water. After you drink this you have to say the magic words and do the steps.

                    Step 1: Go as far out to sea away from the beach so as not to be seen

                    Step 2: Hold hands with your friend

On a hot summer day my parents and I went to Hampton Beach. It was 98 degrees Fahrenheit so the cool water felt great. I had been riding the waves on my boggie board. Suddenly mom yelled, "Olivia! Get out of the water! We have to go to the concession stand."

I said, "Just one more ride in, mom!"

Just then a huge wave came in and swept me back to shore. It was finally low tide, so I begged my parents to let me stay on the beach while they got our lunch.

I began searching for shells. Instead I found an old bottle. Inside the bottle was a piece of paper. On the paper was a note. This is what it said:

                         To:  The mortal who finds this note

              Your pollution and chemicals are ruining our sea.

              Please stop polluting and just let us be.

York Beach is located in Maine. The beach has white sand and rocks on both sides. There are a lot of stores and a huge playground that I love.

I was walking along the shore and found a bottle with a message in it. The message was from a boy telling a girl that he wants her to go to his house.

When I first looked at the message and read what it said, I felt that if it was me, I would never go to a strange boy's house. My dad and mom have always taught me never to talk to strangers. After that I put the bottle back on the shore.

I was on a hot beach in Maine when I saw a bottle. There was a note in it. There was a small rip in the side and it was written messy, too. The note said, "Help! I'm a little man in a bottle!"  So I looked down and there he was, as big as my thumb.

He looked at me and I looked at him. We stared at one another for a long time. Then he said, "Do you know how to find Smallsville?"

"Yes", I said, "but I have never been there and I would not fit. My friend's dad has a boat. He can take you there. Let's go!"

"Okay!, he said.

So we went to my friend's house and I told him what happened. He talked to his dad and his dad said okay. When we got to his town I said bye and never saw him again.

I was at Prince Edward Island. The sand was red as usual. I was in the water at my family's beach house on Campbell's Cove. Suddenly I saw a bottle drifting close to shore. I swam and got it. I tried to take the cork out but I couldn't so I headed up to the house. Then I got the bottle opener out of the drawer and opened the bottle.

I asked myself, "Who could this be from?", and a note dropped out. I read it and it said, "From Magellan: I am beginning my voyage. I am leaving Spain and sailing around the world to get to the Spice Islands".

The message was very interesting and I'm glad I found it. I took the note and showed it to my cousins then put it back in the bottle, corked it and threw it out into the ocean.

I wish I could have attached a motor to it!

One day in Florida I was walking on the rocky part of the beach. Then this bottle washed upon shore. It had a note that said that giant crabs were going to attack Florida. I went to get a giant frying pan and a crane. The crabs came and we cooked them and had a big feast!

"Today is my birthday and I'm celebrating at Silver Lake!" I decided to go kayaking with my friends. We paddled over to the other side of the lake by a rock. My friends started paddling back to the beach. I started, too, but before I turned around, I saw a little b bottle floating around the rock. I grabbed it and put it on the seat. When I got to the beach, I opened the bottle. There were puzzle pieces inside. I put them together and found a message. The message explained some events in the future At first I didn't believe the puzzle, but four years later, one of the events happened. Now that I knew the puzzle's message was true, I kept the rest of it to myself. Soon, the events had all happened and when I looked at the puzzle, it now told history! I was baffled, but I knew research, so I opened a history book and found the same information. At the bottom of the puzzle, there was a name. I couldn't read it, but knew it was special. More secrets for me!

Dear President of Google,

I think the Internet needs to be changed because it doesn't have enough security. Almost all the information in the world is on computers and so if somebody is smart enough they could easily hack into anybody's computer and take their life away. For example, they could change your identity, steal all your money or take your house out of your possession. I think you should make it so that you don't have a password just your fingerprint. Maybe even take a picture of you and match it each time you go on. That's why I think the Internet should be changed and how it should be changed.

Dear Tom Greco,

My name is Olivia and I have some suggestions for your product, Frito Lays Potato Chips. I think that less salt would be healthier. You should also have root vegetable chips to make your products even more yummy. Also, you may want to change the temperature of your oil to brown and crop the chips even more. Finally, the packaging of your product should be changed so the bag makes less noise. Instead you should put them in barrels and have customers self-service them.
