Caught beneath an avalanche of Styrofoam cups
And plastic beads that were once
Swinging from the slender necks
Of clowns that wave cloud white hands
Through the bluest sky held captivated in
Her grey-green eye that wanders through her empty thoughts
And weaves a net of liquid temptations.

Get up again don’t hold my hand

the bold photographer steps into the day
fading into view.
he removes the cap,
focuses the lens.
breaking the code, he looks at her
as she carefully avoids his gaze, furious
that he dares to look directly at her.
intruding on her persona and breaking her shield
with the flicker of fear and uncertainty in her startled eyes

He clicks.

remember when before we were grown
you went off to school and I was left alone
mommy was working and daddy was gone
but there in my room I’d sing a song

and out of the rug a weeping willow
would grow, reflecting my mind that was so callow

I like the idea Senator Obama has for his approach. He acts like he respects Iran and its people, instead of considering them an opposing force that needs to be controlled and guarded. His approach would be very beneficial towards withdrawing the troops from Iraq and creating a safer Iraq because, if it works, Iran would no longer be providing Shiite groups with monetary support and weaponry.
