just wanted to write something I guess anyway
So there I am. Girl’s basketball game. It’s at a school I don’t go to, in a town I don’t live in. I’m decked out –decked fucking out – in blue jeans, bootcut. Black Doc Martens. Black long-sleeved shirt. Black beanie hat. Gray zip sweatshirt. Black denim motorcycle jacket. Ray-Bans sunglasses. Some kids stare at me from across the room but I only barely notice. My gaze is fixated elsewhere.

I say without hesitation that I can see that Connor was an individual with immense strength of will. I don't say this to degrade him. I say this to praise him and his life, as this is the one and only thing I can see in him even if I don't know anything else about him.
