the downfall of time

tick,
there goes the sky.
Turned black by the thickining fog.

Tock,
The river's are polluted
and are swarming
with dead fish.
Floating on the surface,
like icing on a cake.

tick,
the world is getting hotter,
day by day.
Soon the icecaps will melt,
and leave nothing,
but pooling water.

tock,
there goes the stars.
they were dazzling in their beauty,
but now,
are nonexisistent,
and listless.

tick,
there goes the day

tock,
Here comes the night

tick,
there goes the moon

tock,
here comes the hot,

tick,
there goes the world...

Livin' life

Sometimes life,
will knock you to your knees,
Leaving you listless,
and in regress
just feeling little,
and small.

Untill that day,
you thought that way.
Not knowing all,
Life had in for you.

Then you learned,
to truly laugh and live.
Not everything was as
bad as it seemed.
He finally came back to you,
it was just as you dreamed...

So wipe away those tears,
in your eyes,
and remember
That glorious day you learned to:
Live,
Laugh,
and Love

Observation of politics

All the candadates are lined up,
In front of you.
Like prized cows,
at the country fair.

You check their teeth,
and look for blemishes,
until you find one you like,
and want to bid on.

When the moment comes,
at last,
you find that other people,
want your cow, too.
So you pay an enormus sum of money,
to get her.

When you get home,
people crowd around her,
and oooooh and aaaaaahhhh,
in wonderment.
Then they get bored and walk away.

The next summer,
the same cow,
is causing mayhem.
Kicking her handler,
escaping from her stall,
and eating other farmer's crops.

One year ago,
this was the best cow,
in the fair.
Now you will have to,
look for a new one.

How he broke my heart

Verse 1:
Behind her laughing smile,
is a broken heart.
A girl who can shed,
no more tears,
cause she's cried for the world,
the moon, the stars,
and the violence,
that never stops

Chorus:
Who says the world,
won't stop for you?

( I hope to put out a podcast with the words on it soon!:)
Do any of you have a suggestion for after you? or a suggestion for change?

The world in her hands

Such a happy girl
with the stars in her eyes,
and green, lush mountains for her skin.
a silver lake, a great big moon,
and a clear blue sky,
for her heart.

She has the world,
in the small of her hands,
sheltered from the rain,
and the wind.
But don't be smug,
cause one bad move,
is all it takes
to make her mad.

She met a guy,
the age of 16,
so pretty,
handsome,
and tall.

The contents of my fridge

My fridge,
as of right this moment...
is a disaster area.

The cheddar cheese
is growing hair.
It's so slimy
that even the hungiest
of rats,
will not so much as
look
at it.

My fridge, is filled
with hazardous waste.
Too radioactive
to be desposed of...
anywhere.

Past meals,
of holidays,
long gone
reside right next to
the month old christmas fruitcake
that the relatives send us
every
darn
year!

An Account of Strolling of the Heifers..

Saturday the 7th was the well waited for, strolling of the heifers. The prade itself was pretty cool, all of the local farms brought their cows and heifers, and diffrent groups marched. The BUHS band was there playing the song "Heifer Medly", there was a bagpipe band, Austine school, and numerous other groups. After the parade was a awesome "fair" at the bratt commons with lots of booths with free ice cream, games, and prizes. My favorite event was mechanichal bull riding with our local radio host Fish. He got to ride 1 time for every 100 dollars he gathered. The proceeds went to a fund benefiting kids, but i don't remember what for...

Looking to the future

We need,
to look into the future.
Invest into
renewable energy sources.
Please save mother earth.

We should,
help people
in darfur.
Stop genocide,
and begin reparing.

I think
the world needs
some repair.
To breathe a sigh of relief
In times of trouble

As the Sun Rises

One dark and gloomy night,
I watched the sun wane.
The scene was set,
Just like in a movie.
The sky was light,
Inviting some dark
to come into the world.

The colors of the sky,
Were blended perfectly,
The soft flush pinks,
The firey oranges, and brillant reds,
That seem to light up
The gloomy sky.

The sunset is like,
The pallet
Of a artist,
who paints
Just to show
the actuallity of life.
He uses real colors,
Like ebony, chartruse, and charchol,
and mixes them up to represent,

Raven Haired Girl

Chorus:
The Raven haired girl
who lives down the street.
Don't know where she's goin'
Or who she'll meet.

But the raven haired girl,
with the stars in her eyes...
(any sugestions for the rest of the stanza?
I don't know what to put.)

Verse 1
(still creating :)

Bridge
She sees all
In the corner of her eyes,
The thriving of a nation,
or someone's quick demise.
So don't second guess her.
cause the whole
truth lies,
in her eyes.

The Perfect Day

One day,
When the grass is green,
And the sun is out
Shining on your face,
People will see you for
Who you really are.
Not in a distorted mirror,
But a clear reflection.
On the surface of a calm
Pool of water.

If only for one day,
there was no violence.
No killing,
War,
Or strife.
We would live,
that one day,
Carefree and happy.
With the sun on our backs,
and the wind in your face.

Tomorrow, Is a new day

Don't worry,
cause there's always tomorrow.
Another day,
to start fresh
and new.

Don't fret,
cause they are laughing now.
In a week,
the news will be dust in the wind.

Don't cry now,
cause he never means,
what he says.
He'll apoligize,
when the morning comes again.

He'll say he loves you,
and he wants you in his arms.
He'll cuddle you
with an everlasting hug.

Tomorrow is another day,
so don't worry now.
All your troubles will go away,
if only for a while...

Schila's picture

Forever

It seems like I've known you,
for only a day,
But, It seems like I've known you forever.

All the people passing by,
in the hall.
Stream around me
like moses parted the sea.

All of the day,
my mind was on you.

So how can I,
make it through the day?
While you're standing right here,
next to me?
If you knew
that I felt this way
what would your answer be?
