I do not know if other people saw it yesterday, but the moon was beautiful. It was about 10:40 when I went out to look at it. I decided to bring my camera to try and take pictures. I got a couple ones that were okay, but it is hard to take a good picture. Then I thought to myself, pictures are worth a thousand words. It is a phrase that we hear often but it is true. For an example, I could sit here and try to describe the moon for you. BUT it would be nothing like actually seeing it. There is just no way to get that much detail about something so beautiful. I just took my camera and I looked up at the sky. It was a beautiful shade of pink and orange. It had deep blues that were almost gray. It is interesting, I could spend so much time trying to describe this sunset, but I would be worthless. Pictures are worth a thousand words, but beauty in photos are priceless. Nor can they be described exactly how it was seen.

I just started a day and a half ago. I have always loved writing & reading. I like writing anything. Short Stories, Poems, Riddles etc. I made a challenge to come up with a series of short stories last summer. I did it and they were okay. I did it because I felt like it. I liked expressing my ideas and I like creating a whole different world. I like that there really aren't any rules in storytelling... or writing just in general.  Read more »
