YWP College Mentors

The Young Writers Project is fortunate to have dozens of top students from the University of Vermont and Castleton State College who provide feedback on young writers' submissions to the YWP Newspaper Series.
Many of these college students are in honors programs and/or serve as writing tutors at their schools or are part of a writing course. They will tell you what they liked about your piece and what one thing you could do to improve it. You can then use that feedback to make changes -- if you want.
We are trying to time the feedback ahead of the time so you will have enough time to improve your work prior to our selection process.
