The Consequences of War

War has destroyed the world.
It has torn people apart, brutally dragging them to the depths of death.
An iron fist bearing destruction.
You find war in the morning,
When you unsuspectingly wake up
To bombs and gunfire raining down on you.
War has changed our modern thinking,
It has changed our geopolitical boundaries,
It has shaped our politics and government,
And every aspect of life.
When war comes to you,
You flee,
You hide,
And you fight.
But you’ll never escape it.
We fight against oppression,
And war comes.
We demand our human rights,
And violence ensures.
War is around every twist and turn.

  • People and politics

    It tears people apart.
    It brings people together.
    It creates a whirlpool of
    debating, pointing fingers, and strategy.

Politics has brought divisions among us
and identity in an ever-changing world.

    we drift up,
    rising to

    and opportunity.
    A place where
    we can dream,
    and be ourselves.
    We rencounter
    the day,
    and the day before,
going over it a hundred times
