Recognition

She dreamed of someone who couldn't quite be placed...
Blonde hair laid upon her shoulders
Multiple hoops spun around her waist
She was small and thin but stood stong
A smile beamed from cheek to cheek
This person was her
But many years had passed and the difference was immense
She was the same little girl with hoops
But different all the same

(the picture is me when I was 7 or so hula hooping on my porch. this story was about me dreaming of myself as a child and recognizing
the differences today.)
