Christmas Trouble

Once upon a time there was a boy named Jeff. He was a naughty one. For example, he brought a cow to school one day. Then he egged the school––but no one found out about that one. So winter break came along and Jeff and his friends were up to nothing but trouble.

On Christmas Eve, Jeff and his friends pulled a grinch and stole all of the Christmas     decorations from one of their neighbors. So Christmas morning came and it turned out that their neighbor was a cop. So that morning the police were out gathering evidence all throughout their neighborhood. Because of Jeff's history of doing bad things, they went to him and he lied.

The other thing was that his Christmas stocking was filled with coal, but his siblings'  received toys and bicycles. Then he remembered that Santa is always watching. It’s too bad because Jeff really wanted a basketball hoop. So not only were the police after him, but he didn’t get any Christmas presents.

Nightime came, and Jeff returned all of his neighbor’s decorations and left a sorry note. On the day after Christmas, Jeff got a note from the elf on the shelf and it said, “Jeff, it wasn’t okay that you stole those decorations, but you returned them and it got you off the naughty list. But don’t think you’ll be getting any late Christmas presents.” Still, Jeff was relieved to get this letter and made his New Year's resolution never to steal or do anything bad again.
