Farming by Timmy Shea
At the Farm
By Timmy Shea

It must be milking time as the cows
cross the road. As I walk up to the barn the windows
are covered in cobwebs.
When I walk inside I can hear
that awful squealing from the pigs
when the farmers are trying to feed them. It makes my ears feel like they
are going to just fall off.
And then there's the milking of the cow,
where the warm milk splashes
in the pail and then back up
at your face.
The barn is a very busy place.
