  • Log in. (Click "Not a YWP member?" to create an account.)

  • Click "create content" and create an ENTRY
  • Fill out "title," "author name, school & grade" and "prompt" boxes.
  • Paste story into "body."
  • Click "Submit." You are done.
    NOTES: Your account email must be accurate; a "blog" entry must be resubmitted as an ENTRY to be considered.

Girlie

Bubbles
Floating from
The surface
Of the water,
Sinking
Into my skin;
The sent of
Lavender
I never want to
Disappear.
My legs stretch
Out under
Water,
Smooth and
Beautiful,
My mascara
Is waterproof
And the
Color of
My lips
Matches the candles
Lining the tub.
I cap the
Bottle of
Nail polish
And sit back,
Feeling so
Wonderful.

It's good to be a girl.

This is a great poem! I could really picture it. If you have the time it would be really cool for you to continue it. As a reader I want more.
