14. Procrastination. If you had more time, you’d be able to put it off longer. What do you put off to the last moment? Why? Tell a story about how you just barely got something done in time – or didn’t.

The child of the stars

pineapple_babbit's picture

Her skin is whiter than porcelain
Her hair and eyes darker than night
No one knows where she came from
Or where she’s going to go
She is The child of the stars

Her mother is Venus
And her father Mars
Most have never seen them
But everyone knows they are there
She is The child of the stars

Her silence is almost defining
Without a word you know she is there
Her name is unknown to most others
But her presence is known by all
She is the child of the stars

And almost as fast as she came she’s gone
She instantly disappears from sight
Some people think that they may have even dreamed her
While others know she is obviously real
She is the child of the stars
