Running through the Woods

I was running through the woods when I first spotted it. A dainty, little sparkling dot just sitting on a big cumbersome rock. It almost seemed as if that little dot was crying out for me to come and circle it like in those ‘what doesn’t belong’ games.
It was in the cold, dark forest when it should be in a work of art or a nice sugar cookie. I slowed down from the rest of the team and squatted next to the rock. I slowly and nervously brought my finger closer and closer to the spot. As I got closer I could feel a slight suction. After I was only about three inches away, the suction gradually got more powerful and the hole got wider. Soon the whole forest was sparkly and clean. As I was standing in the vast expanse of white, I realized that I didn’t know how to get back. Will anybody miss me? My parents will probably notice that I am gone when the dishes aren’t clean. That was basically my whole social life; dishes, and babysitting for free. Oh well! This place looked like a nice getaway. If only I could find a way out…..
