The Only Rule

Once I heard the sentence "Risk is the only rule," so I told my little brother. My brother told his friends, and they all told their cousins. Soon enough, the whole world knew.

And so, people took more risks and did some stupid stuff, like touching deadly snakes, and trying to skydive without parachutes. Instead of climbing ladders, they climbed tons of trees. During school, they sat on stacks of chairs and threw food. Soon enough, their heads were numb and they had some broken bones.

I was watching the whole darn thing while thinking, "Man, the person that told me that destroyed the world."

    Misty morning

Sailing on the open sea early in the morning.

    The mist surrounds me.

The wind is howling just like a wolf wood at the moon.

I fell free, gliding across the cobalt blue ocean staring at the sky

    Bird

    Flapping,

    Fluttering,

    Flying through the air,

The warm breeze flowing through my feathers,

The sweet smell of nectar fills the air,

I swoop down to the flowers,

I see buds on the trees,

    Maple Syrup

    Sugary water,
    dripping,
    dripping,
    Slowly filling up the buckets,
    Maple boiling,
    Until at last,
    Sugar,
    Slow moving,
    delicious,
    dropping onto your pancakes,
