The Melting of my Heart

As you embraced me in your arms, a wide smile across your face, you were proud of me, proud of everyone in the room.

I stood there for a moment before hugging you back, it felt warm, calming, I felt butterflies in my stomach, I never told you that I love hugs or physical touch, but you seem to knew.

After a moment you stop and let go, we had to leave the space we were in as we had things to do, I wished it didn't stop though, I wanted to continue being in your arms, your warmth was melting my heart, you had my heart.

And after that day I realized that I liked you, I started to realize the things we had in common, I started to notice how cute your smile was, how silly you laugh was that I couldn't help but join in.

I love everything about you, though I don't know how you would view me, I'll stay silent for now, maybe one day I'll tell you everything I said here today, tell you the story of how you melted my heart
