poem 0 comments challenge: Peace

Where I found peace

Late into the midnight
The moon as it shines bright
Stars painted across the skies

In the grassy field, we lay
By the abandoned city side
It's absolutely quiet
No one to be found for miles

And I feel this epiphany like I'm high
Lost in my soul under the enchanting moonlight
Covered by the darkness as it hides
away my worries inside

And as everyone sleeps
The nature breaths
and my soul breaths
This is peace
