Deep Down Gorgeous
she was
deep down gorgeous
but no one stopped
to look
she was
a true spring flower
that no one bent down
to pick
her soul
was brimming with beauty
so much that it
overflowed
her eyes danced with light
her feet danced at night
her love was as big as
a sea
but no one stopped
to look close enough
or bend down far enough
or bother to see the dripping of beauty on the floor
no one
no one
until him

Love that!
I love this poem! It's SO good!
I like the comparison to a flower.
This is really lovely. Spare
This is really lovely. Spare and beautiful. The second stanza is so fragile, in a really interesting way. Nicely done!

This is a beautiful poem.
This is a beautiful poem. All of the stanzas are delicate and your word choice is wonderful. The story is very touching as well. I don't have any complaints actually, which means...
... fabulous work! :D

Faith and love are apt to be spasmodic in the best minds. Men live on the brink of mysteries and harmonies into which they never enter, and with their hands on the door-latch they die outside.
