youngwritersproject.org - provides an interactive Web site where registered students post their writing, audio stories and videos, respond to prompts, receive and give respectful feedback, read tips on writing, engage in online discussions about books, news and life and connect with other young writers.

Newspaper Series - publishes selected student work on the Web, in newspaper and on radio and stage through other YWP Partners. We accept submissions from Vermont and western New Hampshire students in grades K-12.

YWP Schools Project - helps teachers to engage students in writing, to assist them in improving their writing and to develop their 21st century skills.This includes independent digital classroom site, training, ongoing mentoring and support, access to Web conferences and best practice ideas.

Digital teacher training - provides teachers with more in-depth training through Master's Classes. The YWP site, digitalteachers.net, is also a growing community of teachers exchanging ideas for the classroom.

College Mentors Program - trains college students who want to help kids improve their writing skills by providing online feedback to students on our Web site.

School visits - generate enthusiasm for writing and its importance among students. Click here to set up a YWP visit at your school.

Spoken Word Series - Monthly all-ages Poetry Slams, Spoken Word Open Mics, and writing workshops focusing on performance poetry, storytelling, and other forms of the Spoken Word.  

Student workshops at YWP's 12 North Street headquarters, North by North, helps young writers develop their writing and multimedia creation skills. Follow the announcements section of this site for information.
