Murderer

artisticthoughts's picture

This chaos
swirling around my head
consuming me
slowly,
irrevicably,
endlessly.

Fear is pulsing
through these veins,
pounding,
constricting,
comsuming me.

Trust is broken,
the thick chains
totally destroyed
and pulled apart.
Thanks to you
I can no longer trust,
anyone,
at all.

Tears hot on my face
sliding down in streams
like little rivers
as my eyes become red and puffy,
do you see this?
I hope so,
because it's your fault.

Childhood innocence is slipping
away from my firm grasp,
like smoke.

My resolve is crumbling
and my fight has gone
through me and out the other side.

Do you see this?
I am dying right before
your eyes,
the same eyes
who saw the scars
lacing my arms.

How much more can
you take
before you break?
When you do I will be waiting
for you in heaven,
waiting for revenge.

You killed me,
slowly and painfully
and just watched.

Look at me,
look long and hard
because this is all
your fault...
