Acoustic original-Courtesy of Thor
your getting so you're not half bad on that thing....
you heard anything by John Doyle? Irish genre. Plays left handed but never restrung (restranged?) the guitar, so bass string is on top. In concert, you see that he's actually NOT overdubbing and that what he does sometimes does not seem humanly possible.
What about June 5 as a music day/BBQ up here at YWP? Schila? doyou? imagine? mm? music lovers out there?
This is my favorite genre of music. Doyle is a master. Love his collabs with Liz Carrol. And June 5? Sounds like a lot of fun.
This is really cool stuff, man. You should make a demo CD of all of your acoustic stuff... hell, I'd buy it!
Echoing the sentiments of how good this is. Great riffs and chord changes. By the end it's gone from acoustic to something closer to post-rock, a bit more wide. The muddy chords in the background are particularly good.
Have you listened to Godspeed You Black Emperor? If you're interested in epic musicmaking and themes like the ones you imply in your titles and music, I suggest you check them out. Particularly F# A# (infinity).
Loving it Thor!!!
Yeahh.. You're on GG!
"I'll be there..." 2010
Cause I have to go all the way up to darn burlington.
This is epic and fantastic as usual bro. I especially love the end bit.
And GG is that a Saturday? If so, it just might be possible for us to make an appearance, since the AP exams will be long past and school will be easy breezy by then.
Que Sera Sera.
Shall we book it?
Can you each bring two musicians? Can we combine it with some kind of word thing?
10 a.m. with lunch, bbq, at 1
I'm not in-state for the entire month of June due to an archeology internship, so I can't, unfortunately.
