Guidelines
Our guiding rules are:
- Treat others with respect;
- Put energy into what you do here;
- Your work must be your own unless noted; and
- Your pieces respect others, including refraining from using profanity, words of hate and any mention of specific individuals not in the public eye.
This site has prided itself on civility, restraint and appreciation for each others' ideas and efforts. This, we believe, is what a safe Web site is all about. We are an oasis in the desert of Web discourtesy. And we are, in fact, able to share, disagree and argue with respect. And what we learn is that there is great power to words whispered, to opinions expressed thoughtfully with humor and humility.
