Aliens
It was a foggy night. One where you can’t see anything over a foot or two away from your face. They bay was dark and steamy. But one could faintly see the dark emerging shape of a thing that could not quite be described. From the distance it looked like large baseball cap with legs. It slowly came closer to me. I stood stiff as a board with my back against the wall of my shop. I didn’t know what to do as that black shape came closer and emerged from the fog. It had bright white lights that seamed to make everything look as if it were day. I could only imagine what the things inside could think of our planet. I wondered if they liked it or thought it was weird. I waited and watched. Wondering what would happen next, when the lights landed upon my face I felt something shake me. I woke to my brother saying, “Jimmy wake up its Christmas mourning.”
