The Coffee House

 At long last the sound and pictures for the Coffee House, a YWP-sponsored event. Sorry it took so long. Music was great but sometimes the background chatter (yelling) overpowered or a mic or two faltered. But not bad for a hand-held.

Contributions almost covered the costs so thanks one and all for your donations. I think the plan is to do more of these. 242 Main was impressed with all of you -- musicians and fans alike. They also wondered about doing some workshops with the musicians. So stay tuned.

A special thanks to Sunshinedaisy who had the idea: "Hey, what about having a coffee house?" And to Qwerty who did a whole lot of the organizating in a fantastically organizatingly way particularly given that I did not know what "We're booked!" meant. 

And thanks to Problem Child which leant its drum to ALL the bands. That generosity made it possible to have so many bands involved.

We gave a double showcase to The Haps, but only because one song needed to go atop here and it seemed fitting that it be the song dedicated to the late Dylan Peters, a friend of the band members and also of Problem Child.

So thanks folks. The evening went smooth as silk. If you are interested in organizing another one, say this fall, give a shout to Izzy or Qwerty.
