When you first met Spider, who did you think he was? (I thought he was the next incarnation of Anansi, until I got to the next part where Anansi was still in the grave.)

The writer gave you so many clues about spider. I thought from the start he was an evil twin. And then I started thinking that fat charlie had a split personality. which is sort of what that is. All the traditional anasi stories that I have heard weren't even mentioned. If anansi was so powerful how come he died? can anansi even have incarnations?
