Your heart sinks to your throat
As you hear those words 
What do I say next? 
What do I do? 

Your eyes began to twitch 
As your breathing began to deepen
What does he mean? 
How could this be? 
Your heartbeat increasing dramatically
As your fingers began to scratch
No! This can’t be the way!
NO! Not today!

But no matter how many tears
Leave your eyes
Nothing makes it better
Because he lied.
