Drown away my sorrow

Lift away my pain

Fill me with the poison

And let me feel insane.

 

Let me feel a whole new me

See things I’d never see

Let me break the straight line

And hope we entwine.

 

Let it flow in my veins

Pump through my heart

Poisoning my body

With a prolonged head start.

 

I feel it scorch my throat

And I suddenly devote

My long long night

To this brilliant invite.

 

And I feel the power

Of the poison that I take

I feel all this power

In my soul that I awake.

this reminds me of romeo and juliet in the final part where they drink the poison (i forget which one, im a little ruty on the subject).  It's very good, and It kind of makes me think the narrator is drinking the poin to be reborn from the undead or something similar?
