Smart??

Whether we think about it or not, there are always no matter what, going to be popular people and nerdy people. I'm curious to know how many people have been marked as a nerd or braniac and how many people think they fall under popular and for what reasons?? Are you really nice or do you push people to get what you want??

I'm not sure what I would

I'm not sure what I would classify myself as. I never thought of myself in any specific way before. Just as nice, and fun to be around.
Though, I have thought of other people in catagorical ways. I see some of the people who are athletic with monoperonalities as the popular ones, and now that I think of it, I wonder why? Why do I see them as being popular? Sure they get voted for senate, but it's only because they're the only ones to run for it.
Just an observation, really.

Certainly nerdy. It's

Certainly nerdy. It's because I speak in class and get good grades. My friends don't mind--they accept me, tease me about it. Hopefully we can all be so fluid and friendly about our apparent "labels."

Me, Myself, and I

Labels are overrated. I am Me. And I think that is what everyone should be. They shouldnt act any other way to impress other people. But if I really had to choose... I think I would be classified as... someone who doesnt care what other ppl have to say about them. I have been told my whole life that everyone shouldnt care what someone has to say about them. When they say somthing about you. They are just uncomfortable about themselfs.

Sometimes it's important to

Sometimes it's important to take the pieces of criticism that you do get and to examine them to find any faults of yours that might be needing to improve.

Good thing about Honors

Good thing about Honors classes, you get stuck with a crowd who are both smart and popular within their own clique. And let's face it: no matter what you do or how you do it, you ARE going to be labeled by someone in high school. Me? I'm just nice to everybody who's not mean to me. That way, you got lots of friends who you can depend on, and if people don't trust you, then you know they aren't friendly.

Thanks for the comments!! I don't feel so alone in "labels" anymore.

I think it is better to be a

I think it is better to be a teacher's pet then get grounded when report cards come out and your parents see that you have gotten all D's (a new record!). My friend calls all the people who only think of themselves and aren't nice to others the "preppy popular pants kids". i don't like them myself. I act nice to everyone and if they are nice back to me I put them in the nice category.
I'm not sure what I would be labeled as probably "normal" if there is something like that.

I am a total nerd. Some

I am a total nerd.
Some people find this label horrifyingly insulting.
But I own it!!
My school has the easiest curriculum. I get all A's without even studying, it's that easy.
