An apple a day 

keeps the doctor away.

Is there a cure for love?

Something simple? Something quick?

(Pills are fine, no needle pricks)

Can anything stop my heart from beating

too fast when I see you?

Convince me not to need you?

Any medicine, proceedure?

Spurned love is worse than hate -- 

you can't retaliate.
