Blackthorn Rose

Gently caressing

sweet curling dark hair,

deceptive dish of hidden delights,

soaring sweet airs

and spicy sharp turns—

glittering show-off

trying to catch her eye—

coy coquette with her

sultry slide

silvering the moon’s light.
