St. Albans Town Educational Center, Grade 6

Statue of Liberty, Jefferson Monument, the White House — all famous monuments honoring the U.S. There are so many people and places there should be monuments for. But there is one of my friends who I believe should have a big special statue: my friend Jessica. She is always, always there for me. We are so much alike it’s not even funny. I think this special statue should go in St. Albans next to our soccer field. Soccer is one of the many things Jessica and I love to do. Friends are so valuable to me, especially Jessica. We can relate to each other in many ways. We can share things and know they won’t be spread. We can rely on each other.

In a couple of years, come to St. Albans and see the special statue of Jessica. It will be there, I promise.
