The Fight of Marriage
By Alyssa Hammond

Can you ever imagine a couple forgetting how long they have been married? Well it happened to my neighbors, Rob and Bonnie, and this is what happened ...

On Sunday, November 26, Rob and Bonnie started to fight about how long they have been married.

Then Rob said, “I think 30 years.”

“No,” said Bonnie, “20.”

“Well, since we don’t agree,” said Rob, “let’s look at our license for our marriage.” Then they both looked at the license.

“See, I told you we have been married for twenty years,” said Bonnie.

“No,” said Rob, “look, we have been married for twenty-one years. We were both wrong!”

“What! That can not be possible. I am always right”! said Bonnie.

“Well not today,” said Rob. “After you being seventy-two and me being seventy-four we are losing our minds.”

”Oh, Rob, you are just too funny!” said Bonnie.

Nana’s Experience on a Horse
By Samantha Kershner

My nana, who is my great-grandmother, is 79 years old.

The funny story about my nana is when she first tried horseback riding. My Aunt Judy and my Aunt Mari who were in high school at the time wanted Nana, their mother, to go horseback riding to see why they liked it so much. So, Nana went up to a farm to try it out. They were so excited that Nana was going! When Nana tried to climb up on the horse she went right up and over the other side! While sliding down the other side, she broke her finger.

That was Nana’s first and last time on a horse. And my nana did not go on a horse ever again.

My Great-Grandma’s Adventure
By Melissa Stewart

My Grandma used to go to Plum Island in Massachusetts. Well she was on the sandy beach talking to her mother while her dad and brother were swimming.... All of a sudden a fly flew right into her mother’s mouth! My great grandmother jumped up and started to yell!

My Grandma said, “Are you OK?”

Out came the fly, FAST! They all went home together to see if she was all right. And do you think she was all right? Well she was all right. The rest of the family was angry because they could not go to the beach any more. When she got home she drank a lot of water because her mouth was yucky. The rest of the family was making sure she (my great Grandma)was OK.
