Trapped beneath the earth

Frozen in a moment

Of when my heart last beat

Brought so low by the flesh

That used to rip beneath my claws

Recall of memories unwelcome now

In my station of decline

Tell me human,

What do you think of me?

Wild beast broken to the bridle?

Perhaps I am,

But war rages all around

And fire burns within my eyes

Release me from my chains!

Always have you held me back,

And never let me free
