full bloom

laugh because we had

funny times and we were so

little when we

decided that we

loved one another.

hug because we

can’t French kiss; too much

spit and what’s the point

anyways – tongues in each other’s mouth?

ew.

smile because your eyes will

always be lodged into my

thoughtbubble.

murky and innocent with soft

pupils.

hold my hand because we

are made to be locked together –

just watch our togetherness

blossom,

each petal reaches out and

we are in full

bloom.

You are such an amazing writer and you write so often and that's great because all of your poems are so good and beautiful! I have been reading your recent works and I didn't want to be annoying and comment on all of them so I will just comment on this one because it made me smile because the characters were so sweet and innocent but there was also a melancholy aspect to it. You have inspired me so keep writing!!

You have no idea how much that means to me!!  This poem was sort of inspired by Rudy and Liesel from The Book Thief, but then again it's not totally about them...

 

And don't ever stop writing, your poems just keep on getting more and more beautiful.
