Revolution

Ciel the Sky Mortal's picture

One word

Through the crowd

Bringing down

The crown

Revolution

Sparks a flame

That grows into dissent

And dissorder

And chaos

Until the crowd

Has overthrown the crown

Yet again

History

Does not repeat itself

But

Human nature does

Again and again

Over and over

Crown brought down by crowd

By one word

That breeds a hoard of

Emotions

And finally

When distrust

And rebellion

Grow too strong

The crowd

Has become the crown

And is inevitably

Revoked

Distrusted

And taken down

A new crowd takes over

And eventually

Becomes

What they sought to

Destroy

Revolution

Is (often) the only way

To end tyranny

But a great way (usually)

To spark insanity

I'm liking this

It's interesting, and honest. That's the curse of having power I suppose. When you gain power, you're either too afraid to use it, or to dangerous to use it well.

Glad you like it!
