Wolves in the night
There are wolves, living under my bed, I'm not lying! There, you see that's one's head!
There eyes are dark red, as dark as blood, they glow like a night light, but bring the opposite of comfort and hugs.
They creet around at night ready to pounce, down on all fours, quiet as a mouse.
They wait and they wait hovering around, untill finally there's a human, there's a human to be found.
The wolf goes up to it slyly all stealthy and discreet, it's teeth shining as white as pearls, it's ready to eat!
One step, two steps, slobber drips down it's chin,
The wolf lunges out, lunges at the humans shin...
But wait, the wolf, licks it?
That wasn't the trechorous end!
The wolf is my dog? wait! but what was that red?
I look down at Lucie now, you cute little mutt, and as she smiles back, I swear I see those white teeth, looking at me, as they burst out in mimics and laughs.
