Dreaming, Night or Day

Close your eyes, relax, dream of happy things,
dream of birds with bright, rainbow wings,
or of the sunset, the pink and orange sky,
of good things like your beautiful, blue eyes.
Dream of the trampoline, jumping high into the sky,
of getting the feeling you could fly.
It doesn’t matter if it is daytime or night,
keep dreaming.
Dream of getting published on Young Writers Project,
of becoming the world’s greatest architect.
Dream of the orange, red and yellow trees,
their branches dropping their weightless leaves.
Hush, honey, please don’t cry,
close your eyes, dream of the sunny cloudless sky.
