The campfire was coming to just coals when Mommy and Daddy finally forced the three of us to bed. Since Brother was the oldest he got his own tent, so  sister and I had to share one while Mom and Dad got the camper. I tried to explain that even though it was past my bed time, 8 o'clock, there was no way I was going to be able to sleep, they sent us to bed. So I lay in the sleeping bag hoping that night time will take me over when I heard an awkward giggle. I lay there confused when I heard it again, this time sister and I both stood up, then looked at each other confused. When we heard it again I began laughing, I just could not stop it was so funny. When Daddy finally yelled at us, tears of laughter had flooded my eyes. Then when my big, brother replied with I have to do it before I go to sleep, I laughed even harder.

The whole second grade class were eating the peanut butter sandwich cookies Mrs. P brought in for the big, important, PJ day. Mrs. P was just starting the story, but I couldn't pay attention. I knew my big brother would be here any minute to walk me to the older kids wing so I could watch the bridge fair take place. My brother said that they have 2 weeks to build a small bridge out of some fancy kind of wood and they had to have it be able to hold the highest weight to win the competition! I knew my big brother would do well because he borrowed a bunch of stuff that my daddy had out in the garage.Once you finally showed up you took my hand and walked me down the hall. I walked with a little extra strut because all of the boys and girls in my class were so jealous. I knew it because that girl I got stuck with sitting with totally turned into a tomato and got so mad she broke her cookie.

Brother and Sister, another sibling fight about who would get where for the new forts. As usual I was the tie breaker and as usual I picked Brother. My brother taught me how to do everything I knew how to do and I had to keep up with it because the guys that I hung out with would be devastated if I did not. I know you said that 3rd grade is the game changer, where girls start to like guys and guys are trying to figure out what the girls have started. I just knew that my class would be different and we would be able to uphold the usual, where the guys would only let me, of all the girls, to play Star Wars at recess. There was no way my regularly scheduled play dates would end, playing princess was what I lived for. I mean who wouldn't want half the class of guys fighting over who would win the sword battle to take the princess from the tower. Plus the tower was always the second best part. While the boys played in the basement I would hang out with the boys mother. She and I would make cookies or brownies for when the boy came to my rescue, but everyone got one. I would'nt be so cruel not to let one of my ex-suitors go without a proper meal. Besides the fact that I was officially the most popular. I had total ruling of which girl got to be queen while I was princess, plus everyone hates the kissy face monster but everyone finds it adorable when one of my many suitors kisses me.
