Caminé a través del escenario.                                     I walked across the stage

Hablamos un poco, pero tus palabras eran frío          We spoke a little, but your words were cold

Y me sentí como creciendo mas corto                          And I felt myself growing smaller

En tus ojos mexicanos                                                     In your Mexican eyes

“Puedo hablar contigo?”                                                  "Can I speak with you?"

Es todo necesitaba decir                                                  Is all I had to say
