I know I'm still young

I have a long time to live

and a lot more to learn

but I dream big.

 

and I know it's 

silly

just a schoolgirl fantasy

but more than anything I wish it would come

true.

 

They say 

silly young schoolgirl

go back to your schoolwork

never forget

life is limited

so don't go wasting it

on this frivolous daydream

we all know will never come true.

 

and I think

it's not like he's ever 

paid you any attention

so what made you come to believe

he actually cares, that the impossible could happen?

 

I guess it really is

just a silly schoolgirl fantasy

only exists in your head.

 

it never will be,

never has been

so forget

and go back to my books. Study.
