Ballet Dancer
I watch you in the studio
Jumping higher
Twisting faster
Bending longer
Gliding smoother
Along the floor and in the air
Black leotard
Pink tights
Pink Shoes
Ribbon Ties up the calves
Sweet elegance
Crowd in fancy dress ware
Soft piano
Humming violins
Faint flute
Bring in the orchesta
The conductors swift arms
Swing with the music
She spins alone
Soft and elegant
Every bend
Every move
With no sound
Silence settles
The crowd stands
Applauds for the music
The dancer
Flowers are being thrown
But she walks off
As if the crowd stayed silent
