Carefree

We start the day and cross the burning sand                                                                                                                                                                      As we shade our eyes from the rays of sun                                                                                                                                                                Heading toward the water, I take your hand                                                                                                                                                                   Seeing the ocean, we begin to run    

Our feet leave their prints, as the great wave's crash                                                                                                                                                      We dive underneath, the cool water rolls                                                                                                                                                                        More people jump in, but we stay and splash                                                                                                                                                                  The ocean playground, to our carefree souls   

Float on the surface we move with the sea                                                                                                                                                                       Catching a crest takes us back to the shore                                                                                                                                                                      Tossing and tumbling you reach out to me                                                                                                                                                                   Warm and dry we watch the birds above soar

Days filled with sunshine, a good place to be                                                                                                                                                           Together by the water, we are free
