Kate

Kate McCann stood at five feet seven inches, with luminous auburn waves of hair to her shoudlers. It was strange how much a smile could hide. Nobody could ever guess the trauma Kate McCann had faced in her 37 years.Orphaned at age five and moved from one family member to the next. No place was ever home. Her mother Evelyn and father James died in a car crash along with her brother Matthew. Now at 37  married, with four children of her own, she finally felt complete.Like that missing puzzle piece in her life had filled itself in. The one thing she yearned for as a child was solidified family life. A salty tear rolled down her cheek as she wondered what was to happen if her four children were orphaned. Kate watched her two sons James and Matthew help their two sister Evelyn and Maria learn to swim,to read,to ride a bicycle. She couldn't help but be thankful that her children didn't have the burden of not having siblings or having a father or mother.Kate's husband was the best father Kate had ever met. Michael helped Kate learn to let go of the past and live in the moment which she never exactly knew how to do before she met him. As the sun set, she, her husband and children all linked arms and sailed off to paradise.
