Epitaph for my Computer
If my computer was a person
He would have been obnoxious
Self-righteous
Too stuck-up to listen to my commands
There was even a hint of sarcasm
In every action
He wasn’t up to date
He was really
Really
Really
Slow sometimes
Overweight
Undereducated
And lived to delete
My documents
The second before they were saved
But now that he’s dead
I really understand the meaning
Of “You never know what you have
Until it’s gone”
I only hope my next computer is as good as the last one
After all
Something has to make my life interesting
And a computer with sarcastic capabilities
Is as good as anything I’ve ever seen
I worked hard
To save up birthday money
And pick him out from the store
And I was so proud
To have something as cool as him
So
Rest In Peace Computer
You were great while you lasted
Even if I got ticked off and
Pulled out your battery when you were slow
Have fun in hard-drive heaven
Because your last act
Was to strand me here
With a research paper
All alone
Thanks dude
I’ll miss you

Not alone on this one.
I feel your pain. I recently lost one of my computers (first one I owned actually) to a power surge from a thunderstorm. It was a tough SOB, but after all that it had been through, I suppose it was only a matter of time.
Good luck on finding a new PC, always found it to be a rather tough decision.

Post ev'ry story, climb ev'ry mountain, while playing card games on motorcycles.
I love anthropomorphizing.
At dance camp, the girls kept talking about how the floor would be as a boyfriend. "He's always there for you, supporting you no matter what. He's hot, but sometimes he gets really clingy. It's super annoying. Also, he never says much."
Nice!
That is hilarious. I honestly didnt know there was a word for it, but thats amazing!
"Even if it lands you in a straight jacket or a padded cell, play the game, but play it your own way."
