Once again, i have been asked to compose the music for a school musical. This time it is the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. This is Ichabod's solo as he sings about the battle between himself and Brom Bones for the girl, Kaatje

 

Shadows in the dark

Twist my thoughts and make me think I'm all alone

It's tearing me apart

Have I been misreading it all this time? I thought his name was Ichabod Crane. Time to hit the bookshelf... Is this a variant spelling specific to the production?
