The truly not so terrifying horrible life of Mallory Raller

Diary entry #1. 

             August,14 1930 

Hi there if your reading this it must be like fifty or twenty years from when it was really written. Im mallory Raller an eighth grader at my private cathloic school Saint Barkers. My best friend is Talia Martin shes really fantastic she has bleach blonde hair and is very tall for her age 13. I have dark black hair and i'm an average hieght for my age i guess. I have an older sister Marni and a baby brother Jack there absoloutley horrific. All they do is tease me or pull my hair then theres my mom shes never really home. Shes a succsecful lawyer so shes all ways busy. Dad died in a train crash two years ago... next theres Grandma shes like my second mother she stays at the house with us while mom is away ( wich is all the time.)  Well there you have it all about me from the surface at least...    

                            August,16 1930

  Dear diary you wouldent believe what happend today me and Talia went to sit at lunch and the worst of things happend the mean girls Charlotte Bocher and her dogs Tena Reef and Beth Racthet sat down quick before us and siad sorry seats taken. Who does that sometimes I just wish I could just slap her but I can't. Me and Talia had to sit in the hallway were it smelled like dirty socks. The rest of the day wasent really even better it was a friday and we had gym after lunch. Usually I love gym but it was the gymnastics unit and I really HATE gymnastics. It's not bad but i'm bad at it. When we got to the gym Mr. Colby assighned to people to an event and My partner was Charlotte Bocher the queen rotten egg. We got assighned to the balance beam A.K.A my worst event ! We started right away Charlotte went first as usual. I have to admit Charlotte is a pretty good gymnast exspecially on beam... but i still hate her. Then it was my turn I looked over to the bars and saw Talia she was doing her routine ever so swiftly she was the best gymnast in the whole class. Mr.Colby woke me from my deep thoughts and siad get up Ms.Raller. I mounted the beam everything was fine Mr.Cloby actually looked impressed but then came my dismount round off back tuck. I thought i was doing it for a minute til reality shook me awake when i fell onto the floor face first i heard luaghing. Aparently i was knocked unconcious and when i awoke I was at home thats why i'm writing in here. 

                                     August,22 1930

Sorry I havent kept you posted diary but i've been so busy I had four test yesterday and had to babysitt after school. A lot has happend since I last wrote not really big things but some little things happend. If you consider Charlotte(rotten egg #1) tripping me into James Tailer in the hall hes only the cutest boy in eighth grade!!! And to make it worse Talia was sick for two whole days two ! two days with no one to make school fun torture. She came back today thats why we made plans to go to the movies at 6:00 its 5:45 now. Grandma is over for the rest of the week and weekend while mom is away in another counrty with work. But after all that bad news I do have some good news i'm going to visit my favorite person besides Talia in the whole wide world my Aunt Rudith. Shes awesome she lives fourty five minutes away and she owns a book store and has a pet turtle. But you want to no the best part about visiting i get to  miss one whole day of school no annoying spit balls woo hoo. Oh ya remember how i siad i made plans with Talia to go to the movies ya well thats why i have to leqave right now or i'll be toatally late bye. 

                               August,23 1930  

    Guess who I saw last night. James Tailer. Me and Talia met up on the corner of oak wood street in the middle of town then we headed to the movies. While we were standing in line outside for tickets James Tailer walked by and actually acknoledged me. More than acknoledge he started talking to us then when we were almost to the front of the line he siad he had to go but that me and him should go to the roller rink downt town! Can you believe it I was speechless Talia had to answer for me and of course she said...yes!!! After the movie me and Talia stopped by the candy shop to get fruit swirl lolipops(we always get them). Then we walked home when we got to her house her mom gave us brownies then I left to go home. When I got home I had to do some home work. Grandma made dinner but I wasn't very hungry. Then I went to watch t.v for a little but Marni(my big sister) wouldn't let me watch what I wanted. Ugh she's so annoying. Any way I've got to go bye.    

                     September,2 1930  

    Dear diary I only had to go to school for a half day today becuase I have a doctors apotiment. But I did learn something today that's really fantastic! My class is doing a time capsle as a project I don't no what i'll put in yet. Any who I'm not going to school tommorow becuase were leaving to go to Aunt Rudiths. I'm really excited. Oh got to go Grandma is calling me. 

September,3 1930 

Diary i'm having the best time at Aunt Rudiths she is the best. So far she told me about her vacation to Alaska then showed me pictures of her and dad then she read us a story called peter pan. After all that she took jack and me out for hot chocolate Marni was invited but instead she just stayed at the house. I just love Aunt Rudith her real name is Molly I like it. She tucked us in on the porch. Thats  right you heard me she let us sleep on the porch! Well good night. 

 September,20 1930

Diary i'm back nothing really happend while I was away. I got home went to school you no the usual Charlotte teased me and Talia me and Talia hung out I did home work and a bunch of little not important stuff. But the good news is James came up and invited me to the roller rink this weekend on saturday. What am I going to wear? Any way I still don't no what to put into the time capsle and its due next week. Any way on a bad note I got my very first pimple right before my date really. Grandma siad don't worry about it but how can't I. Talia siad it was fine to of all people she says a pimple is all fine wow. Well got run literally I'm late for school.  

September,24 1930

It's saturday date day with well you no who...James. Talia is coming over to help me look for an outfit something flexible but cute. Mom is coming home tonight I probably won't get to see her though she'll probably have Grandma stay so she can sleep. I get why she has to work but just why so much I feel like i'm loosing all my parents. Any way ugh I still don't no what to put in the time capsle Jack siad I should put a fake toe in and Marni siad I should put a picture of her becuase she's the reason i'm still alive which isn't true at all. What ever got to leave you Talias here. 

   September,25 1930  

  Well the date....was horrible well not completely horrible. Talia and me picked out purple capris with a flower tank top and some sandals. Then I met James at the roller rink he opened the door for me and I walked in we got a small table near the arcade. Then we went to get skates once we put them on we went in to the rink. The only problem then was I can barley skate apparently I was very embarssed. But apparentley he thought it was cute becuase then he helped me we skated around and chatted about school and classes. But then we went and sat at the table for a little and got to soda pops and he siad I was really cute and funny. Of course inside I was freaking out but it didn't show. But this is what made the had bad after he siad that to me I siad well psh... your cute to you know. I felt like an idiot. I thought he would hate me from that but instead he just smiled and siad see funny and cute. He walked me home were Talia was wiating. Overall the date wasn't that bad but this is the one thing he did that made the date not to horrible he siad thanks for hanging out with me I had fun We should go out to dinner or the movies sometime all see you later. Ahh can you believe it when I told Talia she flipped. When I got home mom was there but she was just watching t.v of course. I just went in then went to my room. Well I have homework bye.  

September,27 1930 

Hi agian it's me. Well for some reason today at school Charlotte and the dogs were nicer to me. I wonder why well any who James siad hi to me today!!! I still don't no what to put in the time capsloe and it's due tommorrow ugh why can't I think of something. Talia is putting one of her favorite t-shirts in along with her favorite c-d. But I just don't no what to put in ya no well got to got eat dinner see you tommorrow.   

September,28 1930 

Well i;m back agian. You know I've really loved writing in you and sharing my thoughts. You've shown me that my life isnt actually that horrible. I'm telling you this becuase i'm in my science class the one were where making the time capsule and I finally know what I want to put in!!!!! YOU. I thought about it you have a lot of my deep thoughts in it. And it would be really nice in the capsule. I'm sorry I didn't get to write in you more but I think i'm gonna be just fine on my own. Well i'm outside next to the capsule hole. Well you know my life i'm Mallory Ralley my best friend is Talia I have to okay siblings i'm in eighth grade and i'm putting this diary in a time capsule so other people will read it. Good bye for now i'll miss you diary who knows maybe i'll see you in the future.
