It was horrible, the ashes coming at me, I have to get out of Manhattan I thought as pieces of the building fell from the sky. As I sprinted away from what had been a monument I thought of things that might help me get out of here-- running to the brooklyn bridge was one, getting my bike from the deli where I had put it to get my hero sub or getting to the Staten Island Ferry. I decided to get to the ferry. As I went in that direction the ash cloud that was burrowing behind me hit my hand and it burned as I sprinted harder faster as I saw the ferry terminal about 900 m, 700, 500, 300, 100, as I bounded into the terminal. The ash cloud still followed then I saw the ferry about to leave then I jumped and made it onto the ferry then I turned around and saw a very small New York.
