Winter Castle
It was cold, the wind was blowing.
Pretty soon, it started snowing.
The snow drifted all over the ground,
So I went outside -- guess what I found?
A huge snow castle. I was so surprised.
I didn't know what to do, so I went inside.
Inside it was spooky and freezing cold,
But I didn't get scared. I was very bold.
Then I saw a lot of ice stairs. So I went up them.
Up the stairs was one room full of snowmen.
Suddenly a snow ghost popped out of the lfoor.
Just then the smell of pie came wafting through the door.
I went downstairs to find ghosts baking pie for a winter treat.
This ice castle was very neat.
I had a pice of pie. Out of the pie came a winter gonme.
This had been fun, but I had to go home.
When I got home, I wrote a poem,
About how much fun I had at the caste of ice.
This had all been very nice.
After that I told my parents how I'd spent that afternoon.
I'd like to go back to the ice castle again soon.
