Social Battery

Younger me would thrive off of society

24/7 none stop

A charger was never needed

Until 8th grade

Though who knew 100% could die in 7 hours

Who knew I needed a generator to keep my battery alive

Who knew sleepovers would soon be a dread

Now I lock the door to my room

Hoping my parent's won't knock

Hoping my phone won't go off

Hoping the world would stop

 spinning for a second
