A Snowy Wonderland

I wake up to a cold breeze from my patio, and I go outside for a moment, gazing up at the snow falling from the sky.
A small snowflake lands on my nose. I stand there looking at all the snow in its sparkly wonder.
I feel the breeze brushing against my face, making my cheeks rosy pink.
I see the hot air from when I exhale, like a whisper that fades away in the wind.
I taste the clear air, going in and out of my body.
I hear the twinkles of the snow falling, making a rhythm I’ve never heard before.
I smell the clarity in the mountains, rivers, and air giving off lucidity to me.
All the world is right here in all its wonder, as a snowy wonderland full of hope.
The clouds are so white and big.
The mountains are covered with snow.
The people are all bundled up, waiting for winter to go …
The people's hearts, from within, all wait for spring.
I should be the same.
But ... something out there is calling me.
